When is it? what time? where? I will seriously run it with you! its no fun (and much harder) to run those things alone. do you already have someone running with you?
I've been reading your blog for a few months, but never commented. I know I am a total stranger, but as soon as I read your last comment, I felt strongly that I want to encourage you!
I, too, am preparing to run my first 5K this year. I will turn 38(eesh)on May 7, and I will run my first 5K on May 16. I am out of shape, overweight, and terrified that I won't make it! I'm relying on my determination, and endurance from my Lord, Himself to help me!
YOU CAN DO IT! You're 8 years younger than me, and definitely NOT overweight at all! I wish I had started younger and thinner. Ha! You just keep at it! I will add you to my prayers! Kellie www.coveredwithhisfingerprints.blogspot.com
You will do great with your first 5K. I can't believe the twins are almost 1. It seems like yesterday when you had them. I'm sure it's going to go just as fast for me. Hope you're well - even though we work together, I hardly see you anymore :(
Kendra...wow! One of my consultants did her first 5K this year. She got a program of "couch to 5 K in __(can't remember how many) months". I am proud of you. I had no idea you were getting running time in. Very impressive! I love you..,mom
Hi, Kendra! Your words could be mine! That's what I've always said about running! HA! I'm terrified too! I have NEVER been a runner, but I want to be. I started the couch to 5K plan too, but have gotten off track. I'm not a fan of running in freezing cold temps! ha! I know, it's a bad excuse.
I did need some new runnning shoes, and I got those Monday. Now, it's just a matter of making myself get out there! It's great that we can encourage each other, and comforting that we can pray for each other!
Hurray for many milestones!! I'm hoping to start Couch to 5K at some point after Evie's big enough to ride in our double jogger/bike trailer. I'm already planning to think of an excuse why I can't do it though so you're a good inspiration. :)
Hmmm...where to begin?? I have been married for 10 years to a wonderful man, and after more than 2 1/2 years of waiting, hoping and praying, we were blessed with the most beautiful twins! Lucas and Abigail were born in March of 2010 at 38 weeks. God has been so gracious to us. We also have 2 adorable cats who tolerate us because we continue to feed them. I love Jesus, my family, my friends, a good cup of coffee, the beach, sleeping in, sunshine and witty banter. I choose to describe myself as "passionate" about most things. I can turn almost any moment into a kleenex moment, but that's ok... because I would rather feel too much than not enough, ya know?

The shamrock run is fun! I did it a few years ago, and loved it :-) According to many people, it's never to early for the perfect carb ;-)
I signed up for the portland 1/2 marathon...wish me luck.

30 isn't bad, tho it did freak me out....Now I'm almost 30.5, I'm so aged ;-)
