I have only worked out twice since New Year's...so you are now one up on me! :) I am proud of you Kendra, maybe your reminder will motivate me this week!
I didn't know you were wanting to start running....as a (former for now!) runner myself I will say....it is ALOT harder to go in the gym than outside...at least for me. Of course there's not a lot of choice in the wintertime. There's nothing better than the feeling you get after a run!!! Hope it went great!
Kendra-- Your blog posts are always the best! They really make my day :) Way to go with going to the gym! Normally I try to walk everyday for excercise, but lately I haven't been doing too swell with that. You motivated me to get back out there! Tomorrow morning I'm going to pound that pavement! Hope you had a great night. ~Jen
Kendra I just did my first 5K on Sunday. I walked the first two miles and jogged the end. Tonight I tried to jog a mile and felt clumsy. I did log in 5.1 miles on the treadmill tonight.
Go girl, you can do it! I didn't go to the gym tonight :( But, I went 4 times last week! I just needed a night off. I'm getting my haircut tomorrow at 5:30 & hopefully I'll round up enough energy to hit the gym afterward. I totally think my sister is trying to make me fat though...she sent me a thing of Godiva chocolate in the mail today & of course it's already gone. AHHH! Haha...j/k :P
I know EXACTLY what you mean!!! I've been twice too! Ha! It is just so hard to get there, so my coworker and I decided to start going to a riverside park near where we work two days a week. I thought that would be better than not at all!
Hmmm...where to begin?? I have been married for 10 years to a wonderful man, and after more than 2 1/2 years of waiting, hoping and praying, we were blessed with the most beautiful twins! Lucas and Abigail were born in March of 2010 at 38 weeks. God has been so gracious to us. We also have 2 adorable cats who tolerate us because we continue to feed them. I love Jesus, my family, my friends, a good cup of coffee, the beach, sleeping in, sunshine and witty banter. I choose to describe myself as "passionate" about most things. I can turn almost any moment into a kleenex moment, but that's ok... because I would rather feel too much than not enough, ya know?
