Hi all!! That's me and the babies at 34 weeks. Man, the 3 of us are getting pretty big!! We measured me this weekend with a rope and measuring tape, and I am FORTY FOUR inches around....Big Momma!!
We got all moved and settled in this past weekend. We were SO blessed with amazing family and friends who worked so hard to get us moved, unpacked and settled in. By Sunday night we were 90% unpacked, with art even up on the walls. We still have a little unpacking to do, but it's mainly in the spare room, so that's ok.
It's a good thing it all went so fast...I had a doctors appointment on Monday and my blood pressure was slightly elevated. Not alarmingly high, but elevated. It was 130/85 ( Monica hope you weren't drinking anything while reading that...if so I am sure you spit it out!!), but it's been running about 112/65 the entire pregnancy. My urine was fine so she is not worried about pre-eclampsia. She said this is normal as the pregnancy progresses, but it "has her attention". She gave me orders to finish up work within the next 48 hours, and then stop completely. Even though I was only working from home, she wants me to avoid even mental stress. So yesterday was my last official day of work! Today was so glorious... I even took an impromptu nap on the couch =)
I go back on Monday for another BP check, and hopefully it will be the same or only slightly higher. If that is the case, we will just keep the same game plan (rest, rest, rest!). If it is much higher, she will put me on strict bedrest (only up for quick showers and potty breaks). If it is significantly higher, then we will talk about inducing.
We will reach 35 weeks this Saturday, so we are feeling good about the babies making it this far, but we are still praying to get as close as possible to that 36 week mark!!!
So I am trying to do all I can to rest and relax and keep my blood pressure low.
As excited as we are to meet these babies, we just want them to stay in as long as possible!
We SO appreciate all your prayers for us and our babies, and for a safe and healthy delivery.
So when we moved, somehow our email account was deleted? It's a long story, but the short version is Comcast was able to retrieve our account back up, but only for a "limited time". Well, that is the account linked to this blog! We opened up a new Gmail account, but for some reason it won't let me make that email address the primary for the blog???? Does anyone know why or how to fix that?
Any advice regarding that greatly appreciated.
OH and anyone else super excited about Jim and Pam having their baby tonight?!?!

GIRL--I was watching "Friends" tonight and praying for you and those babies!!! You are almost there!!! So glad you are all moved in! Praise Him! You just take it easy...rest, rest, rest!!! In fact, just pop in some "Friends" DVD's.....the one I was watching tonight was "The One Where Rosita Dies!" Oh so funny!!! I cannot believe we are getting so close to baby time! I am praying you get to 36 weeks, though! :)
You look gloriously happy! Glad you are getting settled in. I didn't even have bed rest as an excuse and it was at least a MONTH before our spare bedroom became "guest worthy" after we moved in and we took an entire month to move in so yeah, um, I guess two months of laziness. Take your time. Any guests are going to be too enamored with the babies to notice. Auntie Em can sleep on the couch anyways!
I actually inadvertently linked a Gmail account to my Blogger account. But I believe that what happened was that I was logged into Blogger with my Yahoo account and then opened a Gmail account. So maybe try that? It would make it so that you wouldn't have the blog linked with your primary Gmail account (unless you change to whatever new one you create), but then you could delete the Comcast connection.
So excited for you Kendra! You ARE very blessed...doubley blessed for that matter (is that even a word????).
Can't wait to see pics of the new house and the babies nursery :)
You look GREAT by the way...LOVE the belly!
Hi Kendra--
I'm a blog lurker from Texas! I've been reading your blog for awhile and praying up a storm for you! It's so exciting that you've made it this far in great health! I'll continue to pray for the next few weeks, that you can make it as far as possible, and that your babies will be born so healthy! You are doing such a great job growing them! =) Glad to hear that you are all moved into your house (finally!) and that you have so many amazing friends!
And yes--I LOVED last night's office!! I couldn't wait for Pam and Jim's baby to get here!
Have a relaxing weekend!

Wonderful blog.
Our prayers are being answered, and we keep praying.
LOVE,
GRAND DAD 2 B
Off those feet, momma. You and me both.
And we have to take advantage of this time for a phone date! =)
Looking good! You relish in this rest time. So, SO happy for you guys that things are going well and you are finally moved in! I want to hear about your spa day! :) Here's to hoping, no, praying that those two little darlings will hang on for a bit longer...
Kendra,
While I was watching the Office I just kept thinking about you and David and trying to keep those babies in there until the last possible second. :) I have faith they will come out EXACTLY when they are supposed to - and only God knows when exactly that is. Although, if they could hold off another week or so I would sure appreciate it. I'm smack in the middle of grading and was hoping to have things sorted before I rushed off to meet my new niece and nephew.
As for the e-mail thing. When I opened my gmail, I first had to list my new e-mail address as a co-author. Then I had to get back under my original address and approve myself as an administrator. Then I had to get back onto my new GMAIL account, accept my administration status, and then delete my old account as an author of the blog. Did that make sense?
Call with questions. Or just to chat.
I LOVE YOU!
I am so happy for you that you got everything moved! That is a big deal!
How exciting that you can stop working now, Kendra pretty soon they will be here!! How exciting!! I cannot wait to meet those precious miracles! You look fabulous! You keep getting even more beautiful with each picture update!!
