Soon I will actually post some pictures of my sweet, gorgeous babies, I promise.
But real quick I wanted to ask you all something again...
I am taking this Momma's lead and wanted to ask those of you that are parents or have spent a lot of time with babies, what are some things you were so glad you had/your babies loved during the 6month-12 month time? I am heading to a MASSIVE consignment sale tonight and am hopeful to set us up for the next 6 months as much as possible.
Thanks!

We had an exersaucer which converted into a play bench and my daughter practically LIVED in that thing until she started walking and then we converted it when she started pulling up. We also had one of those swings that hangs from the doorframe and she loved that! (me too since that meant weather had no determination on when we could "swing") And a push toy that doubled as a little riding car, it would pop up or pop down by pushing a release.
Connor loves LOVES that crawl ball I got at Target that lights up. Anything with lights right now. And it was $11 I think??? It keeps him busy :P
1. One-piece fleece hooded sweatsuits (like the one I sent L)... seriously, Little A lived in those things her first winter!
2. Sensory Balls- like these: http://tinyurl.com/25bf97o
3. Adult-friendly kid music (Jack Johnson/Curious George soundtrack, They Might Be Giants, Mary Had a Little Amp, etc)...
4. Snack traps: http://tinyurl.com/27f82gn
5. Sassy Earth Brights Wooden Toys- http://tinyurl.com/25p5wu6
6. JJ Cole bundle Me... makes it so easy since you can't put them in the car seat in their heavy winter jackets- http://jjcolecollections.com/original-bundleme
I'll keep thinking...
Trumpette socks - really, they are so cute and stylish especially before the twins start walking, they will keep those little tootsies warm!
We had a jumparoo that hung from a door frame - for both of mine, it was their favorite piece of equipment.
I might also start looking for a little wagon that they sit in, and you can pull them? We didn't use it until closer to a year, but it was a must for us for a long time (until they got old enough to kick one another when sitting facing each other).
Bumkins waterproof bib--LOVE them. I have four, and I wish I had more. You can wipe them off, or you can throw them in in the washer to get them clean. They are awesome!
Usborne Touchy Feely books. Our girls LOVE these! They have a "That's not my..." series, which is awesome. They have sparkles, and so many textures. Our girls are mezmorized by them!
I wish I had seen this earlier...because I bet you are at the sale stocking up right now. I would have said...Leap Frog Alphabet Toys and maybe the Fisher Price "House" that they can crawl through and around.
But on a side note...your comment today was SO SWEET it almost made my cry and I just love you so much and I just miss you like crazy! I so often check in on your blog real quick and don't comment because I am in a hurry or whatever else and I don't like it! Even though I am so thankful to be busy chasing around a toddler, of COURSE, it does take away from my blog reading time!!! I will do better someday!!! You are so special to me and I just love what you wrote to me and God just blessed me with it today. So thank you sweet friend. You are so wonderful. And that Chandler line just cracked me up!!!! :)
Hope you got GREAT stuff at the sale!
I know those Usborne books Julia is talking about. Those are fun. V-Tech makes a rigid plastic book with like 5 pages that lights up and sings songs. JB and Cadence both loved that. And yeah, as you already commented on the FP musical mirror thing I was supposed to send up north before our little sisters decided to fly instead. Um, I know space is limited, but the FP house front, you know the one with the door, door bell, mailbox, etc- my girls LOVED it. From crawling age to, well, Cadence will still play with it. Definetely something more for the last end of the second six months, but it would last you into the entire second year.
