All fixed!

Yesterday I took Luke for his 6 month ClubFoot checkup. 

Remember these crazy crooked feet?

  

And then remember these big ol' casts?

Well, yesterday the orthopedist deemed our little boy cured. 

Praise Jesus!

 The doctor watched Luke run and jump and walk and stand, and also examined both his feet thoroughly, and then said "they look great! You do not need to come in again!"

It made me chuckle when he asked me if I noticed Luke struggle with anything while using his feet. Um, no. That boy goes. And we are so grateful he does =).

 We are so grateful for our two sweet babies, and all four happy feet!

Happy Fathers Day!

I'm curious...

The other night we were drifting off to sleep, when David mentioned how warm he was (while sleeping in next to nothing) and then laughed and commented about how I was probably perfectly comfortable in my pants, shirts, socks, and two blankets on top.

He was dead on...except for the socks.

Normally that would be a accurate guess, as for the first 6 years of our marriage I never went to sleep without socks on. Ever. Even in the heat of summer, I had to have socks on. 

But pregnancy changed that. Even though I was big-pregnant over the winter months, I still found myself able to sleep without socks for the first time in my life. And I've been able to ever since.

Also- I never used to be able to sleep with my hair up. I had to have it down. Now? It's quite the opposite. I absolutely can not sleep with my hair down.

I'm sure there's more, but it got me curious...what about you? Anyone else have any about-faces that happened as a result of pregnancy?

The Children's Museum

I know. Our city is so cool, it's got both OMSI, and The Children's Museum.

Last week I met up with some other twin moms and a triplet mom (three 2 year old boys! I know!) at The Children's Museum for a little play date.

These pictures aren't great because A)the kids were in near-constant motion, so it was hard to capture them and B)our camera just hasn't been taking great pictures lately. I can't decide if it's the camera acting up or user error. 

I'm banking on it being the camera.

But hey, this is where I document our life, so the pictures go up!
