Our Halloween

Our family was lucky enough to get to do several things for Halloween this year!

I had been talking with the kids about what they wanted to be for Halloween for awhile, and they seemed pretty settled on being Woody and Jessie from Toy Story 2.
But then we watched "Dora's Halloween" and Sis became certain she wanted to be a Cat, just like Dora was for Halloween =).

When we went to buy costumes, I thought for sure she'd change her mind when she saw all the cool costumes...but nope! A Cat she was settled on! And if that's what she wants to be, that's fine by me =).

Don't trust Luke's expression in this photo... he was thrilled to be Woody!!

Not sure what was happening here...

The Friday before Halloween we went to a local Community Center's Halloween Carnival.

Our attempt at a family picture...

They had tons of games to play. You can't tell from this picture, but this is Abigail throwing a ball through a hole. It took her a couple of attempts, but eventually she nailed it! Baby Girl has got an arm on her!!

And of course, one of our favorite games: jumping to Daddy!

The day before Halloween we had a party at a friends house. There was 18 kids between ages 2-3...chaos! But fun chaos =).

Have you ever attempted to get a group shot of 18 toddlers??? It looks a little something like this...

We also went to a pumpkin carving party at Dave's work, but due to the excess of LARGE SHARP KNIVES everywhere, my camera didn't come out once. I was just trying to keep my toddlers from picking up knives while half attempting to carve pumpkins!

On the actual day, we went trick-or-treating at a few special family friends' houses, and then settled over at our neighbors for the Blazer game season opener. We were only able to stay for about half of it, since it was on way past the Little One's bed time, but we enjoyed what we saw!

And just for kicks....look how much we've grown!!

Did you rearrange their nursery? Oh I miss them so much! I can just HEAR Luke laughing in that picture of him jumping into Dave's arms. And Abbey's face in the second one of the two of them = amazing. I LOVE YOU!
