These women are incredibly precious to me. We all met based on the lone common thread of all having multiples.
(Three triplet mommas, four twin mommas)
What began on simply having that in common, grew into beautiful friendships.
Friendships that carry such a strong mutual respect and admiration for each other, no silly Mommy War could ever enter. We are bottle feeders and breastfeeders. Co-sleepers and Cry It Outers. Stay at home moms and full time working moms. McDonald's drive thru and organic only =)
But we share a fierce love for our children, and a deep desire to do the best we can.
These women have encouraged me when I felt stretched beyond my ability to give. They've made me laugh so hard I had tears running down my face. They've brought me coffee in the morning after I've been up with a sick baby all night. They've validated my frustrations. They've given me sound advice. They've made me feel normal.
Getting together with them so often over the last few years has made me a better mother, wife, and person. I'm so grateful to be blessed so richly...oh how I wish every new mom out there could have a set of friends like these. If you are a new Momma, I highly recommend joining a Moms Group. Mine happened to be for parents of Multiples, but no matter how you find yours, find one!
I have made some of the very best friends through this group, and all of us in the group above have twins or triplets within six months of each other...this is HUGE, as we are all often experiencing the same scenarios developmentally with our kiddos.
Such a gift.
We've had playdates in our yoga pants, dressed up for Girl's Nights Out, watched each other's kids, had Freezer Meal Parties, and shared group texts that made me laugh so hard I worried I was going to wake up my sleeping children.
These friends are also almost always up for adventure...like when I'm wanting to get a new tattoo, I can just throw it out there, and two of them will jump at the opportunity to go with me and get one themselves...
