Magically delicious

Dear Babies,

I just wanted to write you a preemptive apology.

I want you to know I try and eat healthy during the day. I try and eat plenty of protein, calcium, carbs, and fruits. Vegetables have not been my friend lately, but I try and sneak them in when I can.

The evenings however, are a different story. I usually feel quite queasy, and few things sound good.

One particular food, always sounds ok, and you two seem to like it, because it has not come back up...yet.

I try and tell myself it's ok because there is calcium and other good things inside this tasty cereal, but I also worry about my nutrition and am acutely aware that I am in charge of feeding you. And what I eat, you eat.

I also have some small fears you both are going to come out slightly resembling any of the following shapes...

Maybe I will try carrots again tomorrow evening....

Love,
Momma

Ha! I haven't had chicken in 8 months (except for a few times I've tried it and it didn't turn out well). My vegetables have been limited to canned green beans and lettuce.

Too funny! I've heard that morning sickness is multiplied by the number of babies, and if that's the case with you in comparison to my morning sickness, you have my pity and my prayers.

Have you had any cravings yet? My doctor told me to listen to my cravings and surrender to them. If I was dying for Mexican (and I did quite frequently) then there was something in it that my baby needed. I told Jared all the time that it was Matty who wanted the ice cream, not me. He just rolled his eyes at me, but I usually got it. :)

Hahaha. I feel your pain. Sometimes, you eat what goes down well (and stays down well). For me, it was all about the frozen treats. With Addie- DQ Blizzards. With Amelia- Sonic frozen fruit slushes. Yeah. Talk about sugar!!!

I will pray that your babies resemble... well... babies. But, c'mon- some of those little shapes are pretty cute! ;)

Too funny! I'm sure my niece/nephews to be (or whatever genders they are) will be absolutely perfect and precious....maybe just talk with a bit of an Irish Brogue someday-lol! I had very few cravings in my pregnancy but I was obsessed with corn dogs. Trust me, Lucky Charms are way better!

I have read your blog for a while and have always enjoyed your upbeat, positive attitude and the fact that you give glory to God for all that has happened in your struggle with infertility. Do you mind if I ask you if you did IVF or if you conceived naturally? You don't have to answer, of course, but the reason I'm asking is this is the fork in the road where my husband and I find ourselves, and we have decided to wait before we make the choice. I want to be absolutely sure this is God's will for us, and not something we are doing just because we want a baby so badly. If you'd rather email me, my address is charla_jenkins@yahoo.com. Or if you'd rather not discuss it, I would understand that too! Thank you!
