Today marked Day Six of the kiddo's fighting colds. We are on the road to recovery (*knocks on wood*), but still keeping the kids indoors and trying to let them rest.
Today they were beyond stir-crazy from being within our 990 square feet for nearly a week.
So, Momma got creative...
What's this?!?
Why, it's a mountain, of course!
We (they) climbed up and down and up and down and up and down for nearly an hour this morning.
Oh, and as you can see, we are very much in to dressing "myself" these days. Luke doesn't like his onesies tucked in, while Ab's prefers to be nekkid. Or "Ne-nake" as she calls it.
We're pretty easy going about such things around here, but diaper-wearing is non-negotiable.
And now our little mountain climbers are sleeping soundly, after a long day of hiking =)

Hope they mend all the way soon.
And thank you, Jesus, for affordable air mattresses at Costco. My own littles have gone through two already with sick-day mountain climbing.
I love how creative you are!
Ha, while reading your post my kids are doing the same thing...climbing and sliding down the air mattress...:) Good fun for a rainy day and well sick day in your case! Hope your sweets feel better soon!!
Good way to burn off some energy. Nice idea.
Love, Aunt Carol
That is so creative! What a fun way to "wear them out", I mean, "get a little exercise". Hope everyone is feeling better and you can enjoy your holiday weekend!
You are so creative and resourceful...that's so awesome! I hope the kids are back to feeling all better real soon!
