The gang's all here!!

Several years ago I started blogging. At that time I connected with a lot women who were traveling the same path of infertility I was. I found comfort, encouragement, and hope in these women I grew to know as friends.

Over the years, I've had the joy of watching every single one of them become a Momma...with the last one earning the title this very day!

It's been a long road for all of us. Some longer than others, but all of us affected by the heartache infertility causes.

Inspired by stories such as Kelly's and Jenna's,we kept the faith. And we encouraged one another and prayed for one another.

And slowly but surely, we were all blessed. Some naturally, some with fertility assistance, and some through the gift of adoption.

Becky welcomed a son, as did Jennifer (who now has two beautiful boys!). Lori and Amy were blessed with gorgeous daughters, and Faith recently had twin girls!! Lacy had a miracle son, to be followed a few years later by a miracle daughter! Sarah welcomed a sweet daughter, and Amanda a precious little son.
And Dave and I? We had our twins =).

God is faithful, all the time. His timing is often very different from ours, but it's always best.

This morning I was at the store with my two miracles and we had to wait in line for a bit at the pharmacy...

Luke and Abbey were growing restless, and I was trying to help name their emotions by saying "it's frustrating to wait, isn't it?" and they both agreed. I bent down to their level, looked them in the eyes, and said "I know, it's really hard to wait sometimes. You know what I waited a long time for?" they both looked at me expectantly..."you!"

Habakkuk 2:3b

"Though it linger, wait for it;
    it will certainly come
    and will not delay."
